How do we get started?
All bookings begin with a required initial meeting.
Before any lecture is scheduled, customers must book a 30-minute information session with the African Live Art team. During this meeting, we discuss:
- Topic(s) of interest
- Number of students or participants
- Preferred Afrocentric instructor(s)
- Proposed date and time
- Lecture duration
- Fees and payment process
- Technical setup (Zoom link, access, etc.)
No lecture will be scheduled without this initial meeting.
What is the cost of an African Live Art lecture?
- Fee per student: $15
- Minimum class fee: $510
- The minimum fee covers up to 34 students
- Classes with fewer than 34 students still pay the $510 minimum
This structure ensures fair compensation for instructors and platform operations.
When is payment due?
All payments must be made in full before a lecture date is confirmed.
Once logistics are agreed upon and payment is received, African Live Art will officially schedule the lecture.

Each lecture follows this format:
- 2.5 minutes – Introduction and welcome
- 1 hour – Lecture or presentation
- 25 minutes – Q&A and discussion
- 2.5 minutes – Closing and wrap-up
Total duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
